Giovanni Nicolai leads the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) function for Enel North America across the U.S. and Canada. He joined Enel in 2001 and has extensive experience within the Enel Group, having held various ICT positions at Enel Distribuzione Italy, Enel SpA Italy, and Market Italy. Furthermore, he played a key role in bringing the SAP E4E Program to life.

In 2017, Mr. Nicolai transitioned to Enel North America, where he took the helm of ICT operations for all of Enel’s business units in the region, including renewable energy (Enel Green Power), energy and commodity management (Enel Trading), and staff and services (Enel North America). 

Before Enel, Mr. Nicolai's career in ICT began in 1989. He started as an Analyst Coder and progressed through various roles, including Analyst, Project Manager, and Program Manager, across diverse environments like meteorology, SAP implementation, and data warehousing.

Giovanni Nicolai holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from La Sapienza University of Rome. He is fluent in both Italian and English.
