As the fourth-largest owner of clean power in the US, we develop, build and operate renewable energy projects. We also provide grid reliability and resiliency through our utility-scale energy storage portfolio.

We provide smart and tailored energy solutions to create, store, use and optimize energy more efficiently and sustainably, reducing carbon emissions and energy costs. We simplify the journey to net zero.
Energy trading
Through our Energy & Commodity Management business we interact with wholesale energy markets, managing and maximizing the integrated gross energy margin and dispatching local generation fleets.
Smart grids
Through Gridspertise we support the digitalization of power grids and the transformation of electricity networks into smart grids to accelerate a fully electrified and decarbonized power system.
Solar manufacturing
Through 3SUN USA, we will manufacture solar photovoltaic modules and cells with bifacial heterojunction technology, supporting a domestic supply of innovative, sustainable solar panels in America.

Paolo has been leading a more clean, flexible energy future as CEO of Enel North America since December 2023. He brings 20+ years of multinational experience including top positions within Enel Group. Before Enel, Paolo worked for NASA among other leading organizations.
